Original members of Zydeco Force, one of the most influential bands in modern Zydeco music, have decided to come together to play a reunion show at Festival International.  Lead by accordionist Jeffery Broussard, the band is known for innovating the hard-driving single-note and triple-note accordion rifts coupled with double-clutch kick drum patterns and syncopated rhythms, which are commonly incorporated into the music today.  For nearly 20 years, spanning the late-1980s through the early 2000s, the band was not only popular at trailrides and clubs throughout Louisiana and Texas, but also toured nationally, internationally, and appeared in movies, on soundtracks, commercials, and made television appearances.
